What is the free tier?
The free tier is a subscription which gives the user a balance of 200 credits, which do not expire, but also do not renew. Once you have spent these credits you will need to upgrade to a paid tier to continue to use the platform.
What does early access mean?
Gendo early access is the first release of the platform, this means you should expect some exciting new features to be added before we reach full release.
How many images can I generate?
The number of images you can generate depends on your accounts credit balance. Each click of the 'Generate' button will get you 4 image variations, and will deduct 10 credits from your account upon successful completion of the task. If you do not get all 4 images back, you will not lose any credits.
Am I charged for every image?
We charge you credit balance per generate request, not per-download. This means every time you click 'Generate' you will be charged 10 credits, and you will get 4 images back. You can download all 4 images generated, if you do not get all 4 images back, then you will not lose any credits.
Can the content be used for commercial purposes?
Free and Individual tier subscribers must attribute Gendo by including "gendo.ai" or "Gendo" in the title whenever publishing any content generated on the platform. This is not necessary for Professional and Team tier subscribers, which come with a commercial use license for content generated. You are responsible for all files you upload to and generate with on the platform, and for the consequences of publishing those files elsewhere.
How do I know how many credits I have remaining?
Log in to the platform, in the top right icon you will be able to review your remaining credits, as well as upgrade your plan or purchase additional 1-off credits. This is also possible through the top left icon, in the account management menu.
How do I change my subscription plan?

If you are part of a team plan, then please contact your organisation owner to request more credits.
How often am I billed?
We bill you on a monthly basis starting from the day you subscribed.
When can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel you subscription at any time. You will be able to use your remaining credits for the remaining duration of your billing cycle, which will not be renewed at the end of that term. If you cancel a team plan, all of your invited members will lose immediate access to the shared credits - except for the organisation owner, who can continue as above until the end of the cycle.
What happens to my unused credits at the end of the month?
All 1-off credits never expire, so will be available to you to spend them. Any unused standard credits do not roll over into the next month. Your subscription will automatically renew each billing cycle and your balance will reset in line with your subscription tier. If you upgrade to a higher plan, both the difference in cost and credits will be prorated to match your billing cycle.
What can I do if I run out of credits?
All paid subscription tiers allow for the purchase of 1-off credit packs to account for periods of intense activity and larger team sizes. If you have used your 1-off credits in the free plan, they will not refresh and you will need to upgrade to a paid plan to get more. All paid tier subscriptions will renew at the end of your billing cycle.
Do you have a pay as you go option?
To use our platform you will need a paid subscription. 1-off credits give flexibility for particularly busy periods, when you just want a temporary boost. Please get in touch if you'd like a usage-based-billing option.
How large a team can I have on a team plan?
You can add up to 500 members to your team plan, all sharing the one credit pool. You can purchase larger 1-off credit packs to account for larger teams. We will also shortly be offering higher base subscription credits to account for larger teams on a monthly basis.
Am I charged if I don't get all 4 generations?
If there is ever an error, and you do not receive 4 images back from a generation, then you will not be charged for that generation set. If you believe you have been charged by mistake or you did not receive you files, and were charged, please get in touch with support@gendo.ai
Can other users see my images?
No. Each Gendo account is a closed system, only you can see your spaces, inputs and outputs.
Can I upload NDA or sensitive project work?
Both Professional and Teams tier have been made with sensitive commercial work in mind. All of your uploaded and generated data stays exclusively within your account.
What do you do with my data?
For both Professional and Teams tiers ensure you data is never used for anything other than your use of the platform. For these tiers Gendo does nothing with inputs or generations.
What file format is the output?
All Gendo outputs are PNGs and the resolution is 1024px on the shortest side. Upscaling soon to be added!
