    Why We Launched Studio Scale

Over the past year, something changed in how studios use Gendo. It stopped being the tool one or two people opened before a client meeting and became part of how whole teams work, every week, across every live project.

That is the reason for Studio Scale. The Studio plan was designed for adoption: getting a team onto one canvas, rendering, iterating and making decisions together. The studios now asking us for more are past that point. They are producing video for competition boards and planning submissions, onboarding new staff into an established workflow, and asking us a different set of questions: how much is the practice actually using this, on which projects, and how do we keep the output consistent from one team to the next?

Studio Scale is our answer to those questions.

What we kept hearing from studios

Three themes came up again and again in conversations with the practices that use Gendo most.

Output was being rationed. Video has become one of the most effective ways to communicate a scheme, but per-clip limits meant teams were choosing which projects deserved it. That is the wrong decision to force on a design team.

Leadership lacked visibility. Directors wanted to understand adoption in practical terms: which projects are generating work, which teams are getting value, and where support is needed. Without that, it is hard to standardise a workflow or justify it internally.

Consistency mattered more than novelty. Studios have a house standard: the materials they specify, the way they present, the level of finish a client expects. They wanted Gendo to reflect that standard across every project, not to reinvent it every time.

What is available in Studio Scale now

Studio Scale includes everything in the Studio plan, plus the following, all live today.

    Unlimited video generation

Move from single hero shots to video across every project, without per-clip limits. Fair use applies. Walkthroughs, orbits and short edits can now be part of the normal design conversation rather than a special occasion. See video in Gendo.

Organisation analytics and a monthly report

The account owner receives a monthly report showing how much the studio is generating, across which projects, and how the team is using Gendo at practice, project and designer level. It gives leadership a clear, factual view of adoption.

Priority human support and VIP onboarding

Direct access to a senior specialist, with no queues and no tiers. Every Studio Scale organisation also gets a VIP onboarding call, where we walk the team through the plan and configure Gendo around the studio's standards.

Custom Catalogue: your studio's shared materials library

Custom Catalogue gives your team its own private library of approved materials, up to 1,000, uploaded by our team and available to everyone in the studio. It includes six catalogue updates a year, and larger libraries are available at additional cost. It is the first part of what we call the consistency phase of Studio Scale, and it is launching now.

    Where Studio Scale is going

We have been open with studios about the roadmap, because the plan is designed to grow with them.

    • Phase one, more output: unlimited video, VIP onboarding, priority support and organisation analytics. Live.
    • Phase two, more consistency: Custom Catalogue (launching now), followed by custom studio styles, organisation-level standards and enhanced team management.
    • Phase three, more intelligence: project memory and studio knowledge, intelligent workflows, project agents and advanced API access.

The direction is simple. Gendo should become more useful the more a studio puts into it, while the studio's work stays its own. Your projects, materials and decisions remain private to your organisation, and are never used to train models.

    Pricing and access

Studio Scale is £59 per user per month, with a minimum of five users. Existing paying studios receive 20% off their first three months, bringing it to £47 per user per month (€55 or $63). After that it moves to the standard price, or we can discuss an annual commitment. You can step back to Studio at any renewal.

There is no migration. Confirm the upgrade with the email on your Gendo account and we apply Studio Scale within 24 hours, with your projects, canvases and team exactly as they were.

    A note from me

We built Gendo to give architecture teams control over AI, not the other way round. Studio Scale is the next step in that: more output where it helps, clear visibility for the people accountable for it, and consistency that reflects how your studio actually works.

If your team already relies on Gendo, I would encourage you to take a look at Studio Scale. And if you have thoughts on what should come next, I would genuinely like to hear them.
